Too Much Work and No Play…

I spent the last three days at my friend’s family cabin. It was a nice, relaxing time of reading, prayer, food, food and music. By day 2 I had not washed my hair, nor had I called anyone. Obviously, I went a little crazy:

Let It Out

I am more than aware that Advertising is mostly about manipulating emotions and wants, but let me just say that it has been done right. I am alright with Kleenex tugging at my heartstrings and telling me about how great their product is because this commercial is so tender and sweet!
Way to go Kleenex:

Secrets

For those of you that are not familiar, PostSecret is one of my favorite ideas, art projects and causes that I have discovered in the last many years.
Frank Warren is an artist that began a project in 2004 by placing pre-posted, blank envelopes in coffeshops, libraries and other places. He asked the people that discovered [...]

I have been reading terrible things about the movie “27 Dresses,” but some sick part of me still wanted to [...]

Tingles and Goosebumps

I have not been that excited about the new season of lost until tonight. I loved all of last season and the finale ended bigger and better than anything I could have imagined, my only problem has been, where do we go from here?
What actually got me excited was the image of the island with [...]

Phone challenge 2008

My minutes restart right now! I am so excited! I only went 5 minutes over my 450 minute plan!
That was a very difficult 3 weeks!

Stay in school kids…

The road to getting my teacher’s certification is long and painful. I am currently enrolled in an Algebra class at Houston Community College. This is so that I can fulfill my 6 hour requirement in math in order to even start my teaching certification. My first class was today and it sucked!
First of all, let [...]
